What's on Annie's mind this week? Getting Down to Basics!

This week I got inspiration from Eminem...yes, Eminem. We grew up in very similar situations...my mother lived in primarily black neighborhoods and moved almost every year, I was bullied because I was poor and different from other kids, my father was never in my life nor did he want to be. I was adopted at 11 years old by my grandparents until I left home when I was 16. Many people do not know my story but yep, I left home when I was very young and paid my own rent, utilities, gas for my car, bought my own cars and worked my way through college. I worked 3 jobs during the summertime and worked 2 jobs during the school year. And it is funny to think I had no personal or academic goals written down or a mentor to discuss where my career was going.

"Everybody has goals, aspirations or whatever, and everybody has been at a point in their life where nobody believed in them." -Eminem

But I did have 'something', some sort of fire in my belly to get where I am today but I was always flying by the seat of my pants until I figured out how to goal set for my crazy entrepreneur brain. So I sat down and created my personal S.M.A.R.T.E.R. goal sheet and I still use it with my workshops and 1:1 clients.

Download my personal example of my SMARTER Goal worksheet here!

I hope this worksheet can help you as much as it has helped me and my clients over the past few years. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!

XOXO,
Annie
